Changing of the Guard
I thought there should be a page here for change in power that is to happen. Harry S. Truman has become the 33rd president of the United States. There is much to add in this spot for both the death of FDR and the start of the Truman administration, for better or worse. Stay tuned!

This website started as a living story of my uncle's service in World War II. I found some 200 plus letters in my late uncle's office he used to run his business after the war, and during his retirement. It was in 2008 that I asked my father (deceased last November 2011) if I could have the letters and look at. In the last eleven years I have painstakingly read, organized and put up this website, that I am proud of.
